California largely has a dry season running from mid-May to mid-November and a wet season from mid-November to mid-May. This year, unlike in the last few years, the grass in my front yard stayed hydrated and green even in the dry season. I did two things in the summer to prevent the grass from getting dehydrated. First, I increased the watering frequency from 2 times a week to 4 times a week. It's easy for me to water the grass thanks to the main lawn grass watering network installed by the Magana Landscaping Company. Second, I cut the grass more often, I feel that more water is able to reach the roots of the grass to keep the grass hydrated when the grass stays at a low height.| Feng Zhou |
