Earlier today, I received the booster to the COVID-19 vaccine. I think the booster shot is the recommendation of both the local health authority and the CDC for my age group. I hope the booster will further reduce my chance of getting infected by the virus and passing it along to others. With the Omicron variant hospitalizations trending up, the booster dose and other public health measures advised or mandated by the infectious disease control authorities hopefully will soon bend the curve on hospitalizations.| Stay safe, |
