My Apple Watch Series 3 could no longer connect with my home WiFi access point after I upgraded the access point from 2.4 GHz(2400 MHz) band to 5 GHz(5000 Mhz) band. I think it is because Apple Watch Series 3 works in the 2.4 GHz WiFi band only and doesn't work in the 5 GHz band. I had to upgrade my watch to Apple Watch Series 6. Today, my Apple Watch Series 6 can connect with my 5 GHz band WiFi access point, as it works in both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.| Feng Zhou |
