After the Vietnam War, late Arizona Senator John McCain walked the world and voted on the Senate floor as the chairperson of the armed services committee. He walked with people of Ukraine on the streets of Kiev, he walked with people of Syria on the streets of Aleppo. Then, people of Ukraine were struggling for more democracy and less corruption. Now, people of Ukraine are fighting for their country's sovereignty and territorial integrity. In Syria, people are still fighting for the same cause, democracy. Senator McCain understood that true democracy in Ukraine and Syria mattered to the peace of the world, therefore the security of the United States. On the senate floor, Senator McCain casted the deciding vote to preserve Obamacare. He understood that tens of millions of people already on Obamacare needed stability and continuity of their health coverage. In memory of Senator McCain, I declare two holidays for my company's US based employees(which currently consist of one employee, myself), John McCain Memorial US Voting Holidays, which coincide with primary and general voting days in the states. I hope our US-based employees at Sretto could use the voting holidays to reflect how Senator McCain would vote on the candidates and the issues. I believe his principles were always the peace of the world and the unity of the country.

Walk and vote, vote and walk, America!
