In Q1 of last year, I visited my son's school, Pomona College in Claremont, California, it was a weekend, the campus was fairly quiet, I remember my first-year college had quite high sound level on most weekends, dozens of sport competitions and performing arts shows, dozens of middle-aged scholars coming to campus to give talks on a variety of subjects, I think most students nowadays are studying on their phones and watching shows on their phones. (This year, I feel, with increased storage capacity of phones, up to 100% of self-generated content would be able to stay on one's own phones, and from there, the content could be cautiously referenced by the internet information aggregators.) In this information age, I believe Pomona College's students are as well-informed and well-entertained as students at big universities, and the college is helping its students to learn to become California's next generation leaders in many aspects of the society like every other Californian college or university.

We wish you a fantastic new year!

P.S. In addition to the self data storage trend I feel, I also felt two more trends in 2020: 1) increased availability of retail space due to increased popularity of online shopping; 2) increased transaction capacity indicated by the introduction of zero-commission trades by many brokage firms. The increased availability of retail space around the country and stock trading platforms could usher in new businesses. I remember people were worried about excess internet capacity in the 00s, then YouTube and Netflix came and their traffic utilized 50% of the internet.
