A couple of weeks ago, I downloaded an open source generative artificial intelligence(AI) model from a website I trust, github.com. The installation on my desktop was very straightforward, just two files, one is the model itself, that other is the chatterbox that takes the prompt and feeds into the model. I asked the model four questions. I asked the model what day it was. The model didn't know, it said "today's date is today". I asked the model who Einstein is, the model gave an answer that I think is correct, and the model listed one of the most significant contributions Einstein made to science. I then asked the model how high Apple stock would go. It gave a fact that I think was wrong. It said Apple's market capitalization was around $90 billions. That week, Apple's market capitalization was over $2000 billions. My dishwasher happened to leak a bit of water at the time. I was thinking what would cause a dishwasher to leak. So I asked the model, the model gave quite a descriptive answer on what would cause a dishwasher to leak which I found quite enlightening. Overall, I think generative AI is helpful and thought-provoking, it helps me to organize my thoughts. Good job, everyone working in this field!

At this moment, my understanding is that Hurricane Idalia is passing Florida and Georgia. Stay safe, my friends in Florida and Georgia!
