I recently cleaned a glass bottle with silicone sleeve on the outside. I had to clean the bottle because I noticed some food residue on the bottom of the water bottle. I first brushed the inside of the water bottle with a bottle brush and rinsed the bottle with water. But the food residue was still there. Then, I ran the bottle in the dishwasher. However, the food residue was still there after the water bottle came out of the dishwasher. I instinctively went to Walmart and got another bottle brush. No luck, the food residue was still there after I used that second bottle brush. Suddenly, it occurred to me that the food residue might have been on the outside of the glass bottle. I unrolled the silicone sleeve away from the glass bottle and wiped the outside of the water bottle. Voila! The food residue wedged between the outside of the glass bottle and its silicone sleeve was gone!| Feng Zhou |
