Another rain storm has arrived in the San Francisco Bay Area today. It is quite windy and rainy. Last November, I left a bucket in my backyard. Then, a series of rain storms came. On February 1, I measured the water level in the bucket, it was exactly 6". I thought that evaporation should reduce the water in the bucket. But there hasn't been a visible lowering of the water level in the bucket over the past few months. I learned that the total rainfalls have moved California away from severe drought.
