I was riding in my car in Mountain View, California yesterday. The north bound El Camino between Castro and San Antonio has a completely new top layer(thanks to California Department of Transportation). The permanent lane separators were not painted yet. In their place, there were temporary lane markers. I think it's a good opportunity for self-driving cars and trucks permitted by California Department of Motor Vehicles to test their lane detection algorithms on roads like this which has those unique temporary lane markers.| Happy holidays, |
