When I was shopping at Walmart's electronics department last month, I saw a sign saying "Walk-ins are welcome for Covid vaccines". So I walked into Walmart's pharmacy department the following week and received the injection of the updated Covid vaccine booster. The vaccine I received is of type "messenger RNA(mRNA)". My understanding is that Covid shots work pretty well in preventing Covid infections, and they work extremely well in preventing hospitalization and/or death resulting from Covid infection. If you happen to shop at Walmart, please consider getting the latest version of the Covid vaccine booster(bivalent against the original SARS-CoV-2 strain and its Omicron variant) if you're eligible for the vaccine and haven't received it.| Feng Zhou |
