Why are Apple's iPhones flying off the shelves while none of its models feature 5G network capability? I think it's because there're currently not any popular applications that require the higher throughput and lower latency of 5G network connectivity to be able to function. In other words, all popular applications are not running so prohibitively slow with 4G network connectivity that render them literally unusable. This window of 5G presence on the carriers' side and non-presence of 5G-only applications allows Apple to continue to sell a large number of iPhones everyday.| Feng Zhou |
